The Good
Cut & Sew Revolution
Finally, brands have stepped it up from making just tees, or simple hoodies to doing full cut and sew. This has allowed brands to create more unique products which have a place in anyone's wardrobe. While personally I feel some brands have putsome sub-par items, it is definetly a step in the right direction.
Premium Denim
Premium denim has come to the masses, and finally we can walk away from the world of aweful washes, and terrible fits.
Challenge to the Throne
Finally other shoe companies have woken up to Nike's dominance, and have put out hot shoes, which are worth of competition. Vans, Puma, New Balance, Reebok, Adidas all had big years, and are finally releasing some of the things in the vault that we have been waiting for. As well , these brands all dropped tons of hot collabos of note in 2006. Heres to more in '07
The Bad
Posing as a Pastime
Posing has reached an all-time high as people flaunt their griptapeless skateboards as accessories. Other favourites of posers include fresh prince caps, fake cazals, and any shirt with a wu-tang reference.
The Ugly
UNORIGINAL FAKE
FAKES FAKES FAKES, everywhere, simply hideous. Not even brands such as crooks, 10 deep, or TH are immune to such blatant theivery.
Neon colored all-over prints
Seems like anyone can make an all over print, little do they realize that bedsheets and baby clothing should not be worthy inspiration.
